Although we really like the house in Clifton, it is 10 years old now, and in America that means that things start to fall to bits in a house - windows going rotten - things like that! As a result, we decided to sell, and with the big surge in house prices, this seems like a good time to move. We have sold the house - as I write - and have signed a contract on a new one - almost finished - on 10 acres in Haymarket on a new development of 10 similar houses. It is much more open than in Clifton, so we have nice views to the distant horizon as well as a very pleasant lot that should be easy to care for. We'll add more photos as we get closer to move date - 31 August!
